But still apple sells iphones in millions. The issue is the response in the market is totally different in contrast to the comment section of gsmarena. I have a cousin who was staunch supporter of android and big fan of oneplus. When his last oneplus flagship broke and the response he got after warranty claim, he just sold the phone and switched to 14 series. Since then nothing against iphone but praise.
Basically two groups of them think common people are brainless. 1. Politicians and 2. Android users.

How about you consider even for just a single solitary second that such people are happy with their choice.
Do you really think droning on about all the things you like about Android, like the ability to fill up a bunch of SD cards with stolen music, smash your screen just so you can get it repaired cheaply, or pump enough juice to power a Tesla or two into the battery, is going to change anyone's mind?
Look that dude you were replying to has a point, every single Apple article on this site will have it's comments section filled by the likes of you talking up Android. I mean what are you lot on, a commission or something? Because if so, then sorry to break it to you pal but you ain't that good a salesman!

Apple regards its phone as premium. Samsung premium or flagship phones receive 5 years of updates
In a way, the 'Apple taunt' about eligibility is now gone with this announcement. If you possibly no doubt 2024 will see phones dropped
Whether this will encourage a five year hold, we have to wait and see.

Apple spits in the face of its fans, and they don't even notice it. ::)
I've owned an Apple myself in the past, but they serve the same function as a cheap Redmi with a bundle of accessories.

If your screen breaks or battery dies you have to pay them an extortionate fee since 3rd party repairs are actively blocked. If you want to pirate music you have to use a program to transfer it from your pc to your iphone instead of downloading it directly onto it LMAO. If you want more storage you have to pay double the price instead of buying a cheap microsd card, not to mention apple still refuses to implement fast charging and you don't even get a charger in the box(most android phones include a charger and a case in the box). Android does have its issues but at least you have a choice in how much you want to spend(there are many budget options too) and software can be improved a little using custom roms and/or root.

Samsung and Huawei even developed their own DeX and EMUI Desktop in 2017, when Desktop Mode is not even a thing back then.

Just checked the supported devices for iOS 17. It's the end of the road for 8, 8 Plus, and X. I wonder how much longer all Bionic SoCs with 4-core GPU will be supported. There are lots of them.

I’ll be the first to admit this is appears a small update on the surface. However, now that some of the usual tech YouTubers have had a chance to play around with the first developer beta, their first videos are now hitting my recommended feed, and by the sounds of things there is more in iOS 17 than Apple let on.
Still this is a Gsmarena comments section so que a bunch of comments about how it all will suck anyway and that Android did it first etc etc. by people who don’t use and have no intention of ever using iOS. Because that’s what actually never changes…….
