Motorola does not update major os as fast as they should. They are on the bottom of the trustworthy companies list. I would definitely take a OnePlus midranger over and mix high end / midranger phone that gets no major updates. If the OS is ready, OnePlus gives that one major update fast, where Motorola just sits back and waits until people are tired of waiting. Not great marketing strategy at all.

I would not buy a phone from Lenovo bought Motorola phone. Claimed Android 13 update that has never shown up. Just releases new phones with no OS updates. I will steer clear of Motorola. First and last of their phones. I wouldn't trust a company that says one thing and does another.

The 2022 moto g stylus 5g Mediatek Dimensity 700 CPU, 6gb ram and 256gb storage. So the Nord offers a significantly faster processor and has better multi-tasking capabilities while the moto simply offers more storage, something that's not really that important in an age of cloud storage and media streaming. Not to mention the Nord has better camera resolution, better screen resolution, better refresh rate and faster charging. So while the moto is a better choice is you value storage over everything else, to say it outclasses the Nord is a dramatic overstatement. The Nord is a better device by any metric aside from storage space.

This phone is okay (an upgrade from its predecessor) but outclassed by the $250 Moto G Stylus 5G (2022). You get more storage, an UW camera, a free 256GB MicroSD card included, and similar everything else aside from slower charging for $50 less.

Just saying, if you don't hate Samsung and don't mind having a thicker bezel, slower charger, and no headphone jack, as a generic brand with similar price Samsung A34 is literally better in most cases, like OLED screen, 4 OS Update (you got Android 17) + 5 years security patch update (vs. 1 OS Update - (You will get Android 14 which will be released in a few months and that's it, no more OS update) + 3 years security patch update), better camera, better processor.

Got hosed on the "only one Android update" with my OG Nord N10.
The fact that OnePlus has perpetrated this same completely unacceptable program onto the N30 makes ANY possible consideration of purchasing another Nord product a total NON-STARTER!!!
