nickname optional, 06 Jun 2023No one is buying Huawei here in Europe. It's less than... moreThere are still countries that have shops to sell Huawei phones and for like P60 Pro have around 20 different shops in my country.
Also most of the people are dumb and dont know much. They buy based on price and dont really care for the hardware or anything. And then there are loads of people who buy cause of the brand. Like Samsung cause they have had there phones for over a decade.
So they dont change cause they are use to the OS and dont want to learn to new OS skin where some things are different places or something they are not use to.
Or there are like companies that have work phones and then they go with the up to 200-250 euro phones and buy like 100 of them.
Also for example Vivo never was in my country while im in Europe and in EU. IQOO also dont sell here and same with Realme and Oppo. We have OnePlus pretty much only and also that Nothing Phone.
Xiaomi basically replaced Huawei and you can get all types of class from Xiaomi phones.
Huawei has the problem with no google service and also the 5G and it's mostly all cause of this mainstream media is bashing and defaming as hard as they can and there are still a lot of people around who trust what mainstream media is creating as they stopped being reporters of news and are news creators

It's not only the void of 5G, but also without Google services. The telecommunication companies also stopped selling them couple of years ago (no demand from costumers).
BBK should respect Intellectual Property from others (IP-theft), if they want to be taken seriously.

Some people are always so quick to jump to conclusions without investigating what's behind these decisions.
First, each country in Europe operates as a single market (at least in Sales, marketing and PR), because each country speaks a different language so they need local teams to promote their products at retail outlets, partnerships with local influencers, etc. It's more than simply translating a website to a different language.
If you look at the smartphone market share in Poland, BBK's brands stand way behind the duopoly of Apple and Samsung. These two brands have a strong brand loyalty not only in Poland but many other Western countries. This got even more signifficant since Huawei was hit by the US sanctions.
Particularly for vivo, they basically don't exist there in terms of sales, so they can't sell high-end products that compete with Samsung and Apple, as well as midrange phones competing with Samsung, Xiaomi, Motorola and even other BBK brands like OPPO and Realme.
When you add to this the salaries that they have to pay there are much higher than what they pay in other parts of the world (where vivo is extremely popular), then for BBK it is no longer viable to keep Vivo launching products in Poland.
Ultimately, what defines which choices you have when you go shopping is not your preferences, but where the people around you voted with their wallets.

Please make them (Oppo Vivo realme OnePlus IQOO) to be the next Huawei
I hate those company using NDA to any reviewers here in my country to put positive review or even bias review meanwhile the phone is absolutely trash, especially low end product.
