vivo closes its German online store

Without much of a warning, vivo's website is now closed and German consumers can no longer buy a vivo smartphone in the country. The German branch now greets you with a short statement that vivo's products are not available at the moment, but existing vivo smartphone owners will still get customer service and software updates.
Notably, the patent lawsuit comes from the Finnish branch of Nokia related to the equipment supplier and not HMD Global, which now runs Nokia's smartphone business.

just a smile, 11 Jun 2023Then explain why I see some phones with 'Nokia' b... moreI can explain you that: there are 2 companies, NOKIA (the mothership of all mobile phones) that's suing this brands for obvious reasons, the other one is hmd that licensed NOKIA name and patents for 10 years. In this time they are allowed to build and sell NOKIA phones. hmd is supported by Nokia in their business model because at the end, their are Nokia phones they build, but that's it, the company Nokia, does not make phones....well, for the moment.
But if you would bother to read the article amd many others on "nokia", you would already know that by now.

No one here is defending HMD.
HMD has zero to do with all this.
This is between Nokia that today only works with telecon structure against BBK.
Still some dumb ppl come to say nokia makes crap phones and nokia is envy of BBk when nokia has not made phones in near 10 years.
Many of you would say nokia was right if this lawsuit was against samsung, apple, sony, motorola, asus or htc.
