Also the cover screen uses less battery and helps to take better selfies.

        I like samsung's implementation better, it will have better software features and optimizations than moto.

              Every Android manufacturer could make promise, but only Samsung delivers.

              Motorola = comedy mediocre brand.

                Other than looking good, what is the point of a bigger outer screen? I see the utility for a Fold style device but for the Flip, it's completely useless isn't it?

                  I won't debate about this at all. I know everyone will always bring this phone to dive everyday.

                  Razr 40U uses 2022 8+ Gen 1 btw which is power efficient btw, not the 8 Gen 1 with no plus.

                  This is the biggest joke I've ever seen. Bro thinks Samsung is the only company that cares about software optimization.

                          Even modern TV shows post-2000s, the aspect ratio is 16:9 or even wider than that. That's why some don't like the Oppo Find N's very close to a square aspect ratio. Too much black bars at the top and bottom.

                          I'm aware of all of this because I watch videos from the cover displays of my Razr 5G and Flip 3. The Flip 3's is actually better for widescreen but it's tiny. The Razr 5G is closer to 4:3. Perfect for classic sitcoms.

                          The Razr 40 Ultra's is perfect for 4:3 content like TV shows and retro games prior to the 2000s. There are some PS2 and GameCube games in that wider aspect ratio but most are still 4:3.

                                Do not blame the useless android animations.

                                  The best outer displays for foldables comes from the book-style like the Find N and Pixel Fold. It's like using it like a slab. No need to keep opening it. You just need to put up with the higher price and weight.

                                  Try typing from a square-shaped cover display. The keyboard will take up most of the screen because on a slab, it will take up like the bottom half of the display. Phone apps are not built for a square format. You either view a rectangle horizontally or vertically. Not a square.
