First the Exynos 2200 still being more powerful in GPU RTX performance against the Qualcomm 8 gen 2.
The Qualcomm 8 gen 1 processor is even worse than the Exynos 2200 in battery efficiency and performance.
Third, if Exynos is good, most should buy it for amazing performance and experience.

I'm no audiophile but as far as i know without those hi-res Audio Player are still fine (correct me if I'm wrong) also have both wired and wireless and both are not quite cheap either (50-100$ range). have you ever try listen a music from wired to wireless and you get a feeling like something missing? the implementation should be hybrid, not a direct cut. it just force people to like it but didn't realized it still underdeveloped. wireless won on convenience and feature like ANC but that's it. also answer me this, why samsung s23 can fit a stylus while not headphone jack?

also did you know you can adjust the audio quality on spotify?

Garbage phone with 2022's Exynos 2200. Samsung basically can't even be bothered to put Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.

So many people dare to defend the company desperately for saying that not putting a 3.5mm jack on a phone is a good step. I feel sorry for those of you who believe that the 3.5mm jack takes up a lot of space in the phone, while the fact that it's not true at all. You can still maintain IP68 on it considering that the Xcover 6 Pro comes with IP68 and still comes with a 3.5mm jack. Just admit that they do this for profit. They made a sizable profit from selling their Buds. Sure a wired earphone with USB-C connector can be a good replacement, but a wired earphone itself won't be replaced by a wireless earphone that we need to charge every certain time (not really convenient for me that uses my earphones almost every time).
Same story for the memory card slot. $100 to upgrade your phone storage to a bigger one vs $15 for a memory card with the same capacity just to store some random pics or files that you won't access every time. Sure it's right that memory card is literally slower than UFS storage, but who cares if you won't access it every time? It slows down your phone? HAHAHA, I will tell you, if you don't charge it almost full, it will never slow down your phone. Not at all. And sorry, I won't pay monthly to store my files into someone else's computer a.k.a cloud storage. It's funny to see people claiming that memory cards, the physical storage space stored on our own phones, is less secure that cloud storage stored on large corporate computers.

Similar battery sizes at 3700mah, yet the battery life of the S22 is worse by nearly 20%. Almost all that difference is caused by the poor efficiency of the Exynos 2200. And lets not even forget raw performance, 8Gen2 is rated at 1.2-1.28Million Antutu Points, the Exynos 200 is rated at 900K-950K Antutu, massive 30% difference. So you lose out on both efficiency/battery life and performance. Please dont buy any Exynos phones, people buying them only encourages Samsung to make more phones with the same poor characteristics.

You can get an S23Plus 8/256 for around 750-770USD right now. S23FE will likely launch at 650USD for the measly 6GB/128 variant and probably 700+USD for the 8/256 variant, if we base it on the release price of the past S21FE, IMO the extra 50USD is worth it. Get it now or you could wait for the S24 phones which would likely be equipped with even more impressive Snapdragon 8Gen3s

James Whister, 16 Jun 2023I wanted to buy S21 fe, but skipped upon hearing about batt... moreJust go for the S23 Plus. The S23FE based on the specs now is garbage for the price(it will likely release in 600-700USD range similar to past FE phones). The S23Plus is already better value than the S23FE thanks to the vastly superior processor. In addition, the 23Plus has a bigger battery and faster charging. There had been MANY complains online about the poor battery life and efficiency of Exynos 2200-equipped phones.

For a rough example, in the GSMArena site, lets comapre the BASE S22(3700mah) against the BASE S23(3700mah). Same battery size, you would think they would have nearly similar battery life, but NOPE. The S22 is rated by GSMArena at a HORRIBLE 85 hours, the Base S23 with its similar sized battery is rated at 101hours.

I wanted to buy S21 fe, but skipped upon hearing about battery issues. So is it better to wait for s23 fe or to go for s23 plus? The pricing range would be the same?
