Tritrix, 14 Jun 2023''charging and pairing regularly''? I l... moreI mean connecting. But turning on Bluetooth and connecting by going through some option is easier for you than just plugging a jack in? No wonder you don't understand such simple second argument.
You charge once a week, which isn't the case with affordable wireless headphones anyway which needs charge more often. Even if you don't listen you have to ensure it's charged once in a while. Wired headphones don't need charge even once in your life, -1 step. They can sound good while costing much less. There's no good sounding cheap wireless headphones.
Finally, I can still use wireless if headphone jack is there. You like most anti-headphone jack people act like it removes wireless ability.
All arguments stand against you.

Besides, phones with headphone jack also has Bluetooth, so you have best of both worlds. Why restrict one for no justifiable reason?

Samsung's work is not right
They don't use snapdragon anymore in their mid-range phones and it's very sad
Until two years ago, Samsung was thinking about people's hearts, but today, Samsung is no longer afraid of Xiaomi and only cares about their money.

AlienKiss, 14 Jun 2023Don't remind me... It's been a hustle every night... moreUnderstood but...
Oh no, you just attracted the wireless purists who think they can't use a bluetooth headset on a phone with a 3.5mm port. Stay strong, fren.
Corporate kool aid effect is too strong.

Imagine shilling for corporate practices.

The main cost is the labor if you do it at a repair shop. If you do it yourself then USB-C ports and 3.5mm ports are only a few dollars at most of a difference. Here is a better solution that doesn't require paying for ANY port repairs.
Wireless charging and bluetooth headphones. 0 wear and tear on the ports for your phone and wireless charge the bluetooth headphones too. In fact you can actually wireless charge the bluetooth headphone case while still using them to listen to music! Revolutionary!

No 3.5mm jack no buy, 14 Jun 2023I don't care about sound quality, but rather convenien... more''charging and pairing regularly''? I literally recharge my headphones once a week + the pairing of the headphones is done ONLY ONCE during the first pairing.
Want to ''just plug in and listen?'' It's even better with Bluetooth, you don't even have to plug in, -1 step!
I didn't understand your second argument, but I'm sure it's even more flawed than the first.

Tritrix, 14 Jun 2023We use bluetooth to stay connected to the device at home, l... moreI don't care about sound quality, but rather convenience. It's inconvenient for me to charge and pair headphones on regular basis, I want to just plug and listen.
And I don't want to use dongles, because it takes up USB port and overuses it, I don't want to pay for USB port repair.
Your bluetooth can never solve these above but a headphone jack can.

Anonymous, 14 Jun 2023Surely it couldn't be the shitty battery life due to B... moreWha? The sound quality on my Samsung Buds Live are amazing and I know these aren't rated the best for sound. I only charge them once a week, granted I'm only using them for maybe 2-3 hours a day at most The charge at the end of the week isn't empty, I just like to charge them once a week. Could probably go for a little longer if I wanted to. I got these for ~$40 bucks directly from Samsung. Sony makes some really really good bluetooth ones with amazing sound quality from what I've heard at my local best buy.
If you're talking about those $5 ones from amazon/aliexpress then yea I could see why you would say they sound terrible and have terrible battery life.

Anonymous, 14 Jun 2023Surely it couldn't be the shitty battery life due to B... moreWe use bluetooth to stay connected to the device at home, listen to music or make calls, connect a smart watch, transfer files, connect our phone to our car and I could go on like this for a long time.
Then it's totally wrong that the sound is disgusting with Bluetooth, buy yourself better headphones.
