The Samsung S8, S9, and S10 did not have the three cameras. Much like cars, phones are "refreshed" every few years with a new design to keep up with fashion trends. At most, Samsung's signature is innovation while other companies like Huawei, Nokia, Motorola, and Apple etc just copy whatever Samsung is doing. The absolute state of cellphones.

That's not the Fold5 lol! That's the Fold3 that they re-released with a CPU upgrade and nothing else besides a HUGE crease yet again and HUGE pricetag. Useless Samsung as always. That garbage is not even worth 200 dollars.

wasnt samsung tried with TizenOS and until this point, it didnt give big impression whatsoever
Google would be a pure ad sales company without Samsung -> why not try go google-less for few days
no search with google, no youtube etc, even apple/iphone user using many google services
Because tons of people using google, google make big revenue with their ads, imagine if google just pure-ad-sales company, they wont as big as now obviously
Its not just google, other like facebook, tiktok and rest similar companies are same, they become big company from massive user which use their "service(products)" for free
Google is good at software -> this is user preference, some say good some say bad, for google, the metric is how many user using their product(software), sometimes it doesnt matter if the software is bad, as long tons of user still using it, if it really bad most people will find another else anyway, its been the way.

Also Oppos N2 might not be the perfect foldable, it is very close to it. If google works their foldable solutions into regular android I expect the next mix fold 3 and n3 fold to be much better.

Hardware isn't everything and Samsung leads in software dept with a fairly comfortable margin.
I can feel the crease, sometimes. Doesn't bother me. I use S Pen and its contextual cursor change to support different actions (for example changing into arrows indicating window size change when you are in the right place on the window edge) makes life easier.
Samsung still can't integrate it into built-in slot, and that is a pity, indeed, but what exactly do other brands offer? Nothing. They don't even offer their own version as an option, nobody does.
I hope Samsung gets a competitor that will force them to up their game, because we all would be better for it. But just blatantly stating they do shoddy work because you don't what you want is laughably egocentric and frankly detached from reality - sales numbers clearly confirm they're doing just great.

And the z fold 5 design is the same as the z fold 3, which I have. That's why I just decided to get a pixel fold.

I don't understand why should anyone be afraid of getting mistaken for having a Chinese phone. And yes they are not perfect, every year people are complaining about fold series cover screen ratio. not fixing issues is not something to be proud of, like having lightning port on iPhone (hopefully it will not be there in 15)

Samsung signature design = triple vertical lenses + middle punch hole (infinity-O)
Apple signature design = fidget spinner lenses + notch
People who bought Apple/Samsung dont want to be mistaken by someone for using Chinese phone.

Rather funny reading some of the comments on here when a lot of you like the Pixel Fold when it has the G2 chip in it. It's a disaster on release.. battery issues and so forth. The Fold 5 will be fine and should receive better battery due to the Gen 2 chip.

Same battery every generation, Fold 2 has bigger battery :( , no S Ultra cameras, S pen is not integrated again, come on Samsung this is lame
