Both type of OS have each advantage and disadvantage, htc is just offering the Best hardware, if you hate the touchflo, go buy another UI written by third party.

Honestly, the success with the iPhone is NOT the specs or how powerful the hardware/software is. It's the ease of use and how the animations just "FLO" all together.
I have used the iPhone 3G and WM6. Not everyone want to spend hours figuring out where everything is. It's the simplicity and smoothness of the iPhone OS is what's really attractive. I never used TouchFlo 3D but from reading articles, it just doesn't have the silky feel the iPhone OS does.

Fred, 12 Sep 2008It still remains a lousy Windows Mobile phone that needs to... morewell, you are right:=)Too bad that Windows Mobile still looks like Windows 95 or even 3.11. Hopefully WM7 will bring something revolutionary at least optically. Regards!

You say full specs are provided, yet I don't see how much this sucker weigh, a pretty important spec.

I don't understand why one would want a flash on a cellphone. They all make the picture look like someone stuck a shitty flashlight to the person's face!
Some people have just low low standards!

This is a really coooool device.HTC should look at the shorcoming over the SAMSUNG omnia and try to give the complet ui so that nobody will have second thought. nothing wrong to learn from others to become the ultimate device.

It still remains a lousy Windows Mobile phone that needs to put extra level of software to try becoming as beautiful as the UI of an iPhone and hide the ugliness of Windows Mobile.

HTC touch HD resolution screen is not the highest resolution..yes the resolution screen is the same as Xperia X1 has but the size screen influence the resolution quality.
Htc touch hd is 800 x 480 = 384000pxl at 4"screen = 96000pxl/inc
xperia x1 is 800 x 480 = 384000pxl at 3"screen = 128000pxl/inc
it means x1 screen quality is better and sharper than htc touch HD and also amount of camera resolution like 5MP doesnt influence good or not the picture quality that will be showed on phone screen but resolution screen it self except if you print your picture out to be photograph so 5mp is more superior...

Sorry, how is this HD?! It's nowhere close to HD. This will just confuse consumers, HTC just want to jump on board the HD bandwagon! Just by sticking HD at the end of a product does not make it HD!
