99% of all foldable flip phones ever sold has Z Flip sized external displays.

Funny how some people just don't see the practicality of this phone. Complain all you want, but there are people that will still buy it. I seriously can't wait to get this phone.

Absolute joke with midrange soec features/ nothing new same attempt in 4th time never gets resolved

Man, my carrier (AT&T) seems to be offering the best deals for the Razr+ and Pixel Fold. Razr+ is $5 for 36 months. Pixel Fold is $25 for 36 ($900).

It's so tempting but I need to stay strong. I can pay a little over $80 monthly to get both.

                    $65 Unlimited Starter Plan
                    $5 Razr+ for 36 months
$50 Pixel Fold for 36 months
                    - $40 from ACP ($30) and autopay ($10)
                    = $80 plus taxes

If I did it reverse, it's still about the same. Maybe a few bucks cheaper.

                    $65 Unlimited Starter Plan
$25 Pixel Fold for 36 months
                    $27.78 Razr+ for 36 months
                    - $40 from ACP ($30) and autopay ($10)
                    = $77.78 plus taxes

The taxes on the $1800 Pixel Fold is killer though. On the Razr+, it's only about $77. I'm trying to get the activation fees waived.

If I had both, the Pixel Fold would be my main phone. Or I can just exclude the Razr+ since I already own two foldable flips I'm happy with and get the PF. Pay only $50+ monthly.

My Dasher app doesn't always make a notification sound when I get an order. So I get put in a timeout without knowing that I lose my schedule. And I have 4 phones with me including an iPhone SE (3rd Gen).

Reason why I want Pixel Fold is to split screen the Dasher app with something like the YouTube app or browser app. Pixel Fold is really like the next generation Surface Duo with a little bit of the Oppo Find N. It's the one I really want. Not the Razr+.

People who end up getting a Razr+ will realize the inconvenience typing from the cover display. You're going to end up opening the phone a lot. You want to see what you're typing and a square aspect ratio with a keyboard popping up will not do this for you. I know from experience with my Razr 5G.

The best for typing from an outer display is really the book-style. And tent mode seems much better on the book-style thanks to the wider aspect ratio. A near square aspect ratio is better suited for TV shows and video games prior to 2000s. Almost everything after 2000 had 16:9 aspect ratios.

Pixel Fold is the one for me but I still won't get it. I already got my phone bill down to $20. I'm not going to raise it to $30, $50, or $80. I'll wait for Tensor G4 once Google goes back to TSMC. First gen products are always plagued by issues.

                      Thanks for sharing your experience!

Tritrix, 21 Jun 2023A screen that is present on 4 phones in the world has helpe... moreYeah I have a the Z-Flip 3 and I have like this paranoid conscience that this phone is very fragile (it really is after all) so I unflip it only when it's necessary. It's my work phone. So most of the time I'm just glancing that little screen for notifications.

So yeah I use that phone with this weird care and that little screen is really useful for me, in a particular way. I hate distractions and a regular phone is so distracting. So having a phone that you need to open some times with both hands is a positive thing for me because that reduces my compulsiveness.

Meh, I liked the fact that screens on foldable flip phones only served to display really basic info. It helped me to use my phone less.

I dont like the fact that they kept the same battery imo.

Why don’t they just allow full Home Screen and apps on the front screen? Old Android phones have less resolution than it. Allow full apps running on it and it will be a lot more useful than only able to run select widgets.
