    I'm honestly dissapointed on the specs.

    HMD looks like its trying to use up all the lame 720p panels that were leftover in China.

    And I bet once they move to 1080p, it will be all the low quality panels at 60hz

      At this point, I'm really fatigued looking at these phones these days.

        Devices with depth and macro modules should be considered a fraud.
        Especially with a once-great name stamped on the back.

          I support the fact it has some reparability characteristics however, i think people will dump that thing other than repairing it due to its entry level specs.

                    Doesn't look like it's more durable than any other phone out there. It's still plastic and has a fragile display like others

                    HMD as usual capitalising on Nokia brand image to sell stuff

                      While Samsung and Apple focus on repairability with their top phones (they are expected to last for longer time due to high price), Nokia goes with basic specification, that only makes the phones more expensive against any competition.

                              HMD Global had announced Nokia G22 at MWC 2023 and it is not yet available in many countries. Android 13 OS update is also not available for this phone. Now they had announced G42 with Android 13 pre-installed. It will be available for sale after the launch of Android 14. HMD Global will provide Android 14 OS update to this phone in Q2 2024. They should have announced this phone at MWC 2023 or should have wait for MWC 2024 with Android 14 pre-installed.

                                feel like budget chinese phone from last couple years. 800 charging cycles when the budget infinix, realme etc can already be 1000, is the weak SD480+ able to last the next 5 years? Or can it be replaced with the SoC as well?

                                      1. Still using SD480+ instead of newly announced SD4G2. At least use SD4G1. Come on.

                                      2. Still using that ugly waterdrop notch. Why can't OEM understand that symmetrical forehead and chin bezels >>>> ugly waterdrop notch + thick chin bezels?

                                      3. Using 2mp+2mp camera when they could at least put 5mp Ultrawide or 8mp Ultrawide.
