In definition, you buy a professional camera and stop fooling yourself!!! The same with the periscope lens, to take pictures of the moon hahahaha. You buy a telescope that abounds and in many types of range and price and you stop looking like a fool in front of people! I already asked for one and it doesn't exceed 120 dollars, now I can even see the Martians dancing on the moon and the phone for what it is, flirt with girls on dating apps and stay connected

I would prefer to only have three cameras on the phone:
A) Ultra-wide angle
B) Wide angle
C) Narrow angle (periscope)
Here's a description:
A) 120', x1 zoom, Regular Bayer, Medium Resolution (also used for Macro shots)
B) 90', x2 zoom, Quad Bayer, High Resolution (also used for digital telephoto shots)
C) 60', x20 zoom, Regular Bayer, Medium Resolution (also used for Grayscale shots)
....that would give you the best balance between Speed, Quality, Features.
You can't really achieve much better than this without making lots of compromises. In particular a phone with many many cameras has the problem of using too much internal space, which ends up making the phone big, with a small battery, and potentially loss of features. The only way to make it better, is to use a huge sensor in the back for regular x2 Wide-angle shots, and have a module for attachable lenses for different needs (fisheye, ultrawide, zoom, etc etc).
The correct answer is; if I wanted something even more capable than the ABC cameraphone described above, I would then bring in the proper tools for that task, which means a professional grade DSLR or Mirrorless. A smartphone should not try to compete with those professional tools, but instead be a competent Point'n'Shoot type of camera. The iPhones and Pixels are great at that, not so much the Samsungs, Xiaomi, BBK, Huawei's, or Sony's.

Some macro lens can focus 30 cm or less, some 10 cm or less
You might not consider them macros based on your preference, but that doesn't mean that they aren't

Macro would make its head use most of the frame at the point you easily see compound eyes , not 2%.
All samples they here label as macro are not. Just close-up shots.

Macro is not about blurring backg... morePut one of your finger about 2 inch from your nose. Then focus your sight on the finger. Notice how the background is now blurred while your finger is in focus? It doesnt matter you have 1 finger or your whole hand in front of your face, the background is blurred.

Macro is not about blurring background.

I'm sided with a dedicated module because it would be more flexible and possibly with even closer focus. but if the same can be achieved with the UW lens, all hail macro enabled ultrawide lenses. hoping manufacturers would realize the demand for macro from folks like me. (got myself Mi 11 Lite NE specifically for it's macro lens.)
