Does it cost you money to you adblocker? Does it hurt you in any way to use adblocker? If not then why bother stop using adblocker regardless of number of ads? Why ever see ads? What benefit do you even get by seeing ads? Why so much kindness for degeneracy filled platforms like youtube, which is owned by google who make money by stealing user data, selling people inferior products for high price etc? Due to submissiveness of people like you and those who upvoted you, the headphone jack was lost and also soon more restrictions on adblocks will follow!

Start looking for other alternatives like Rumble or bitchute. They are still young but a at least you have freedom of expression and an ad free experience.

Remember, YouTube isn�... moreYoutube was a people's streaming site until google bought it, i highly doubt that the people, we are talking about, including me, are just a "bunch" as you call it, they are a LOT if not the majority. Tough they block ads, through this people spreads a lot of streaming, be it crapp or be it educational, down the "who received the share and viewed it" line, there are browsers without adblockers, so are you sure this people are not important?
The internet without an adblocker is so full o garbage and annoying pop-ups, it is atrocious. So this companies should be spending time on how to reinvent ads and get rid of invazive/obnoxious ones instead of thinkimg how to stop adblockers therefore making people angry.

I don't have anything against adds in the begginig or ending of videos, but when add strike in the middle of the video I get pissed off. That is why I use addblocker.

On short: google can easily detect if you use an ad blocker and if so, just block the videos or the whole site for you're browser until you pause, the blocker, or exclude youtube from it. Have fun laughing now....😒

Likely more someone pay for premium, more ads YouTube made for who doesn’t pay. Also unskipped ads just getting longer, double and frequent while watching content.

I cannot blame YouTube entirely, but they are simply not helping anyone. There will always be people who will use adblockers no matter what, so instead of annoying everyone, why can’t YouTube offers better value for those who are legitimate users (either free or premium)? People use ad blockers because the ads are becoming a ton more annoying. Have shorter ads and I bet most people wouldn’t mind. And give more bones to premium users, like combining it with Google One. That way people are more attracted to pay up.
Seems like the new business mindset in Silicon Valley is to make enemy form your own customers nowadays.
