          I think the biggest problem yt has is the lack of a cheaper option that only remove ads. For 2 bucks at most blocking only ads would be sufficient. i think. I'm not going to pay that lets say 3 bucks extra for YT music, background play and (built-in)video download, i care for neither of them. Just the removal of the ads in a much cheaper package, and i think lots and lots more ppls would be fine paying.

                  I believe YouTube will reverse this stupid policy. People are already unhappy with YouTube due to other reasons, and there's no shortage of alternatives. So if they actually follow through with this policy, then they'll get budlighted.

                  The ads on YouTube are way too intrusive & annoying, and most people are not gonna put up with it.

I usual... moreNew pipe doesn't block ads, it uses youtube api to load videos...so it is natural way how to watch videos without ads. Google also wanted to disable youtube api in the past, so we will see if it happens.

                      I'm blocking Youtube ads because they are always thrown at me out of the blue at 2x the volume of video I was just watching and are always about something stupid I don't care about. I rather watch LinusTechTips ad about Vessi shoes or Hetzner data centers than anything Youtube serves me.

                        Time to take the hardcover books, the old ones, without w.ke changes. YouTube has become a waste of time due to adds and the censoring.

                          Unless YouTube Ads Become Better, I'll continue the fight to remove ads from YouTube! Ad Blockers are here to stay, advertiser's should understand that I don't want to see every single stupid advertisement

                                        I use NewPipe and turn off the screen on the phone. I usually listen to what YouTubers are saying. No ads. I'll be mad if Google finds a way to prevent NewPipe from blocking the ads.
