In 2023 it seem all 4G versions received a 5G version and minor tweak

The answer is Exynos probably would not sell in the USA so as you can see Samsung for the S series releases Snapdragon in the US and Exynos every where else
I personally don't know what say a 40 point differential in Geekbench or Antutu 9 does in the real world but I have seen the YouTube video comparison, and I just can't wait until we get supersaturated advert. My new mantra will be "Wait pause the video, I missed that ad'

My guess is that now 07/0/2023 the negative blowback of Samsung using the Dimensity is to relegate Exynos.
Samsung acknowledges that it Samsung does not have a flagship SoC
Essentially Samsung and Mediatek are in a race as to the next flagship SoC
If Samsung next SoC blows everything out of the water, then it can stay in-house and a Mediatek chip at the right price could in theory replace Snapdragon.
Chinese flagship phones are already using Dimensity, imo Snapdragon dominance is not guaranteed, people would
ask why are you using SD when all Dimensity are producing better benchmarks.
The SD cost more negative, but comes with user acceptance a better chip.
Samsung S range is overcrowded with models sharing similar specs, E.G the A54 comparison with the S23 FE, the SD chip has skewed the price

As Exynos 2200 is still around SD 8 Gen 1 range or close to 8+ gen 1.
A54 is on the range of SD778 and seems that S23 FE is just in the A54 body so they have just cut cost on making the phone by using A54 body

Nameless, 01 Jul 2023I don't understand the hate S21FE gets. My wife has S2... moreIts a great phone and you got a great deal too! But this re-release with a 50k INR tag is just not worth it at all. There are phones like the Poco F5 and Redmi K50i here in India which people will buy in a heartbeat over this because most people dont care about the software experience. They see ohh shiny and buy or just go by the spec sheet.

I don't understand the hate S21FE gets. My wife has S21FE 6/128 with snapdragon 888. Phone is snappy and battery life is adequate. Cameras are great, no overheating. We paid 450€ during sale in autumn, and value is very hard to beat. Phone is far better what A54 offers now for similar price.

I still use a phone with SD865 and I'd buy a phone with this chip again if the price was right. Though 600 usd is quite a lot, considering brand new S22 can often be bought for a similar price on sale.

You know soon Samsung next series is going to be s24 series while they are still re releasing old crap s21 fe. Snapdragon 888 is one of worst snapdragon processor.

Another reason might be Samsung has deals with Qualcomm using Samsung Foundry for some Snapdragon chipsets. Mediatek has been exclusively using TSMC until now and never used SF. Samsung do use lower end Mediatek Helio chipsets though.

But S21FE was made to be cheaper S-series Flagship but still better than Midrange.so it is better in Bezels & screen to body ratio.
