They're still manufacturing the 888?
I thought Samsung would just stick an Exynos in there if they wanted to save money

AlienKiss, 01 Jul 2023Because nobody in Europe/USA would buy it.Doubt about it. It's Samsung after all, and most Europeans/Americans will choose Samsung over any non-Samsung Android phone, especially on flagship.

If they are just doing a stock clearance then why they didn't sell it around 450$ ish ,it is way too expensive for a 2 year old phone with probably one os update left behind

Do ppl even want anything to do with that 2021 flagships' chipset? It's inefficient, overheats easily, and knowing it's a Samsung, they'll throttle the performance down to smth like the SD7 series.

Samsung scraping the bottom of the barrel now. Very bad deal at that price, but will definitely sell like hot cakes at a lower price in a few months. Still wondering how low will it go anyway, since the 256GB Exynos variant already sells here for like 40k. I hope Samsung fails this time, treating us like 3rd grade consumers.

Anonymous, 01 Jul 2023It's weird that S21 FE is smaller in body size with it... moreSamsung won't release a smaller Galaxy S FE Smartphone since it would affect sales numbers of the regular S23. The S23 is super compact but not too small. Just like the regular iPhone 14. If the FE would have the same dimensions then people would go for the FE which has a lower price point. that's also one of the reasons why the A54 is that big. With a 6.1" display it would have competed with the S23: looks the Same, feels the same, decent display and camera so why pay twice as much for the S23?
