I hope the new Xiaomi 14 and pro has a new battery of at least an mah 5500 or a little higher mah. I know the majority of customer are waiting for all Xiaomi new phone a whole new update specs on their old phones, and that is including a long lasting battery update. Not the same mah batteries power from past phones.

Also is a big deal for consumers on how often the phone companies update their technology. I think is a great deal that as often the companies update their smartphones brands like Xiaomi, customers realized that all smartphone battery should be updated also

I am extremely curious as to how the 1+5+2 configurations performance
Everybody is on a cycle to replace a phone, with my two year contract, I see many statements that say the Galaxy has upgraded since last year, there may be some who upgrade yearly.
Supply is also on a cycle, so you see new phones bing release all year round.
The premium phones get the best SoC, so as not a gamer I don't know what game will run well on what phone,
I entered the phone market again just to replace my broken phone mid contract
It was not a flagship phone so I compromised on specs, I needed anew phone nownor in 2024, my market was 2023 mid range.
Had I not needed a phone now I possibly would be looking at SD 8 gen 4, I shout add you don't know If Mediatek in 2024 would bring to the table.

Who told to name every bug her... moreChange the wallpaper then immediately swipe up to the home screen, turn on dark mode on home screen and then try to swipe down control center or enter an app and lastly reboot your phone then unlock it and you'll see such lovely animation. There are more bugs and MIUI is basically a piece of garbage.
Why are you defending them tho? Everyone knows MIUI has the worst optimization in android world.

It was dumb things like panel in Xiaomi's own app or system menu having illogical big slab of empty interface for no reason, weather app not having option for GPS location detection anymore even though it had it years ago on ancient Xiaomi, but doesn't on new one, things like Xiaomi half locking your Xiaomi account due to inactivity because I happened to have another phone brand in between, but the account is still there and can be used, but half of data is just stuck there and you can't wipe it, but you also can't replace it with new one, black status bar suddenly popping into view when previewing things (like app screenshots) on GooglePlay etc that are on white background. Dumb stuff like this, none of which breaks use entirely, but almost anything you use exhibits some small dumb issue that never gets resolved and reporting it via Feedback app to Xiaomi always resulted in them inviting me to try the new BETA ROM. And that was it. None of them were fixed in many years.

There's no point in a 16gb+ ram option when Xiaomi aggressively closes apps before you're even near half the capacity, even with no restrictions turned on and locked.
What used to make Xiaomi good was the price difference to Samsung and Apple, but at the cost of corner cutting features (software support, camera quality, usb 2.0 etc) and most of all: bloat.
Just go on XDA forums for debloating guides and see the quantity of bloat, no hearsay from "but all my family and friends" argument.
Now Xiaomi costs more, and you get the most bloated UI, and with running all that bloat comes higher battery and ram usage to power the bloat, which I think that's why Xiaomi chose this agressive ram management to get somewhat a average battery life in the end.
A good Xiaomi phone is on a custom rom bought on sale.

And dont tell me about ... moreLike I said, I'm using Samsung S23 Ultra for few months now (since launch) and I forgot about Xiaomi at this point. I just remember almost anything I used had some stupid glitch that wasn't huge to a point it would be unusable, but it was just always something broken slightly and it was getting really annoying. I haven't seen anything similar on Samsung (or Apple when I still had iPhone).
