And dont tell me about the animation smoothness as theres a clear difference between poco f5 and samsung a54 smoothness in video tests. And even on the xiaomi 13 pro and s23 ultra. I've never encountered any bugs with MIUI. But on this site people are saying MIUI is full of bugs
Maybe we are the lucky users but all my friends using MIUI have great experience and they are happy with it, my mom and Dad are using Xiaomi and I'm the one who bought for them but they have never reported any issue to me

Maybe you, I, my friends and my parents are lucky users? It doesn't make any sense

This leads me to assume that this site is full of haters and fanboys. Most of people who are saying MIUI is full of bugs have never even own those devices

these hattesr forgot how successful poco f5 and how cheap compared to competitors also even more cheap than poco f3 or poco f4

I haven't encountered any, yet I often see comments claiming MIUI is full of bugs. I'm not saying there aren't any, just that I'm a bit perplexed as to the claims and I have literally encountered none.

Also, if you set certain battery options for given apps, but also activate battery saver mode, or ultra battery saver, that probably overrides it. I don't use battery saver mode, because I don't like apps to be shut, and my apps - that I have selected to have "no limitations" - does not get shut by MIUI.

Mind you that eventually, with regards to RAM, apps will get closed no matter what - if enough RAM is used and required by more recent apps. This happens on all smartphones, and the more RAM onboard, the less likely it is that background app(s) will get closed.

The main issue with it is this bizarre task killing with mind of its own that keeps killing apps even though you turned off all battery saving and optimizing for that app. It's also littered with tiny bugs EVERYWHERE that will drive you insane pretty quickly and every time you'll report any of them to Xiaomi, all you'll get is silence for a month and then they'll invite you to try out their BETA version for literally every single report of any bug with hopes that it was fixed. And that's it. It has been this way for years. I don't get it, they have decent hardware, MIUI as whole is fine, but their whole package is just totally broken and isn't cohesive and complete, but is always terribly lacking. They could totally overtake Samsung and even Apple, but they never will because they just don't seem to bother.

Yet to provide proper update support like samsung while having samsung/iPhone prices
Higher prices to this date where you can get a s23 much cheaper than a 13 on sales every now and then

Okay, but what is the point of the new SoCs? Are there any graphically demanding game besides Genshin Impact or other gatcha nonsense and emulation?

Phones current chipsets are already efficient enough that I don't see a point to pump out new chipsets for already very niche enthusiast market that still are going to play games that work well on a mid range phone from 2017 or something.

I wish phone industry was more akin to graphic cards/processors industry, where we get noticable upgrades every 2-3 years.

Honestly, I don't even know what could replace my OnePlus 8T as a whole besides camera in the upcoming years, because these new models just doesn't justify the cost.
