In case of S23 ultra you get a box and a phone for 1600 with 8+256GB combo up to a 12GB ram and 1TB rom for 2200.
Xiaomi 13 ultra cost around 1500 base model and top model is around 1800 still cheaper than a samsung and you get a charger a cable a screen protector and a case in the box thats another 100 in accesories you dont need to buy compared to samsung where without said accesories you risk breaking your screen and limited usabiloty to 1 day until you deplete your battery.
Lastly camera is much better not fron and same goes to charging speeds which is around 30 minutes compared to S23 ultra which needs more than 90 minutes.
And i am rather not commenting ram and rom hungry Samsung UI which consumes like 2-3GB of ram and another 10 of disk space.
Maybe they gives more IS updates but honestly past few year no big change in android and all said updates are just a cosmetic feature.

Could it be possible that the RRP will cost more than the contemporary Samsung Galaxy Z Fold if sold outside China, just like the Xiaomi 13 Ultra?

There can be expensive and bad products in this world, but there can't be good and cheap products.
The editors of GSMArena and many of the commenters praise smartphones from Chinese manufacturers and give them high marks, but if you give them $1000, they end up buying an iPhone, they end up buying a Samsung.
After users are tricked into buying them based on high scores from reviewers, they don't provide any after-sales support, including updates, and are irresponsible when they break.

you want cheap products, Chinese manufacturers can cater to your budget

They have little confidence their premium devices can compete with Apple and Samsung outside of their home turf. It's not the hardware. They are using similar hard"where" it counts :). It's the branding, software, perception of build quality and support that makes a difference to the consumer.

Not really a surprise that there wont be global version. Mix is more of the Xiaomi concept series where they try out new features.

Looks like samsugn is worrying so much for sales for Fold if this isnt allowed to be sold globbaly.
At least customers could get better specced foldable cheaper but noone will import from china witc china rom.

Most Chinese manufacturers are reluctant to launch their expensive flagships outside of China because they know they won't sell.
In fact, many manufacturers have released their expensive products outside of China in the past, but the only expensive smartphones that have sold well are Apple's iPhones and some Samsung phones, and no Chinese phone has ever sold well.
Only pathetic hipsters think highly of Chinese phones.

I wish they’d push for under-display frontal cameras in regular phones. Most of the frontal cameras are crappy anyway and very few even have autofocus.
