Xiaomi Mix Fold3 to also miss on an international release
The foldable market may be growing steadily as most major smartphone OEMs have not one but a couple of foldable handsets already. However, that's mostly true for the Chinese market, whereas other countries' choices are mostly limited to Samsung, Motorola, Huawei and, in some cases, Oppo. Unfortunately, things won't be changing anytime soon.
According to a reputable Chinese tipster IceUniverse, Xioami's upcoming Mix Fold 3 won't make it outside of China. Like its predecessors, Xiaomi's next foldable device will again have limited exposure. And although the report doesn't reveal much about the Mix Fold 3 itself, it hints that the phone will be competitive and incorporate the latest tech.
One rumor suggests we will see UD selfie camera, 50W wireless charging, while an earlier one points at IP rating for water and dust protection and a periscope telephoto camera - a rare feature among foldables.
Last year's Mix Fold 2 turned out to be a pretty solid foldable, despite some of its shortcomings. And this year's vivo X Fold2 is hands-down one of the best foldables out there, giving Samsung's Galaxy Fold series a run for its money. But just like the Xiaomi Mix Fold 2, it's only available in China. Too bad we can't have some of the nicest things in the western markets.

Could it be possible that the RRP will cost more than the contemporary Samsung Galaxy Z Fold if sold outside China, just like the Xiaomi 13 Ultra?

Xiaomi's top models are never cheaper than Samsung, unless they are lower spec. One way or another, no reason to buy Xiaomi.
