Anonymous, 23 Apr 2013 we are talking about eye tracking technology so its cl... moredude am not asking you to buy me breakfast , name the phone lg had eye control with 2009 , name the phone that's it . because if lg had this eye control from 2009 and never use it and now they waited almost 5 years to now say or we did that first not Samsung , APPLE do that all the time but APPLE don't win all their court case from companys who apple say copy them . so i believe SAMSUNG

the reason why samsung is selling so much is because they release a lot of phones, and their marketing is bar none very good. They pay all the carriers big money to showcase their phones at store fronts. I'm not saying this is evil tactic or sneaky, but in the end it's paying off. Good for them. Overrated products though, it really are. They don't even have the best android products, but hey, a lot of companies will do anything to be in their position. I can't believe there is no other android manufactures that is coming close.

but now all reviewers almost are saying samsung is not introducing any innovation, their is not any thing new beside repeating same things, and now giving credit to either of HTC one and Xperia z,
few reviewers i read said about HTC one that it may be regarded as a copy cat design taken from apple, but they have first in their own and all other points u wud have read as well if not u can,
but what made me praise as well, every one said their is only android flagship which is class of its own in every department, which is sony xperia Z

Of course samsung sells almost 1/3 of all smarthphones, according to gsmarena's phone database they have already launched 866 phones, or even more, while the other manufacturers launched like half of that... they launch so many of the same lame phones, it is like if they are that desperate, they can't do anything else.

The SGS4 is a rip off. The 16gb version is going to retail at £589 in the UK. £90 more than the iPhone 5.
The HTC One looks much more tempting

The patent in question is applied for in 2009, but LG suspects its domestic rival of violating more patents dating as far back as 2005.
LG will start investigating once the Samsung Galaxy S4 hits the market next month. Naturally, Samsung denied the accusations, stating that it uses different methodology to implement its Smart Pause feature.
We'll see if LG and Samsung go in court over the eye-tracking patent in a month when both the Optimus G Pro and Galaxy S4 will go on sale.
