Mediatek sux, 06 Jul 2023Really? How did you test this?Cross platform disk test app has also memory copy subtest, it shows me 12.35GB/s(single channel). On my zen8 is LPDDR5 3200MHz memory which has theoretical speed 51.2GB/s in Quad-channel 16-bit (64-bit) mode.
Mobile GPUs don't have dedicated VRAM and caches...so main system RAM is used, which is connected through narrow memory bus. LPDDR4/5 are not so fast as GDDR5/6(x) used on desktop GPUs. What suffers a lot is texture sampling(very common operation during rendering every frame). For that reason mobile games are using fewer textures with smaller resolution vs. desktop games.
Mem. bandwidth on Adreno 740 is 64GB/s. Even the old GTX 750 from 2014 has 80GB/s. RTX 4090 - 1008 GB/s.

Imagine traveling carrying your Gaming pc, ps2, wii, switch, gamecube, ps vita, psp, nes, Snes, Gba etc or you can just carry your phone and controller and play all those games in your phone?

Switch is enough on a small phone screen, if you want more i guess you could add texture packs and upscale resolution and dock your phone to the tv. Pc emulation on android isnt gonna be playing every ps4 era games either, more like stuff from 2010-15.
You should get a rog ally.

Mediatek sux, 05 Jul 2023Switch and pc emulator dont care about those low end chips.None of the PC or Console care about these emulators too as they wont get money out of people who use emulators to play there games.
Isn't Switch like android based or something ? Or something similar as i dont think that small thing can have anything we see on xbox/windows and playstation.
Also as much as i know the game studios also dont like people use emulators and ban people who use them. Even Chromebook users got banned cause it triggered something on there auto detect programs.
And what i think that be better is the cloud gaming where you dont need to have good hardware and need basically only screen and gamepad to play all the PC and Console games online. It be a lot larger market to make money out of people then have emulators that very minority group of people can use cause of the heavy need of high spec hardware
