HTC is not guilty - they just tried to copy Nokia's recorded audio quality, optical image stabilization system, design and colors of the covers (HTC 8x). I see it so that HTC must be a great fan of Nokia and they will do all possible to be like Nokia.

Does this mean that only the early models will have the high DB handling for video recording?

[deleted post]lol just by your that comment, you made a fool out of yourself. Nokia don't invent? Yea sure, why would a company ruled over the mobile phone market over a decade and its current flagship is given the title as the most innovative smartphone of the year?

But I guess you are a bot because you don't seem to understand anything except being arrogant.

On the picture shown by gsmarena it looks like HTC One has very unorganized stuff inside the phone rather than Nokia lolz.

wow.look at nokia's midranger lumia 720 internals and look at htc's flagship the One internals. the one is a mess while the 720 defines craftsmanship. no wonder most htc phones have reliability issues .also no wonder lumia sales r growing fast while htc phones sales r on decline. nokia knows how to make a beautiful phone inside out and this is only a midranger while htc is cramming everything in a mess and the one is supposed to be a flagship.shame on u htc!!! no wonder u r going down!
