MRSTEK, 11 Jul 2023Will it help LOCAL tech industry within EU? Maybe another a... moreLocal tech business had no problem so far, the American had. I could not order goods directly from U.S., because their stores would not open due to absence of this deal, for example.

Anonymous, 11 Jul 2023Waiting for the EU to adopt mandatory removable batteryAgain this shitty useless feature???
If you would keep for your device better yur battery could last longer besides most users swap their phones ona 2-3 years basis in other words time where your battery can easily retain 90-75% of its original capacity.

Sev, 11 Jul 2023EU stopped the transfer of European user data to US in 2020... moreNo. The Court of Justice of the European Union decided (after being seized by a German citizen) that transferring data to the USA was illegal, since according to the USA European citizens have no rights, but the companies continued because they knew that the EU would not take any sanctions.

EU stopped the transfer of European user data to US in 2020. A really good decision. But why the hell on Earth they're rethinking about a correct decision. While the EU whines about privacy, but here they're making a wrong move, especially when companies like Meta, Apple and Google are involved. This move can pose several risks on privacy and allowing these companies to exploit user data can be threatening. Clearly it's a comprise to right to privacy.

Well this sucks. They should just forbid the transfer of EU members’ data to the USA. Period. As if we we’re just gonna trust Meta & others to be nice and comply with the law. *cough* cambridgeanalytica *cough*

"and the EU believes the United States will comply with a new" - Really?! Believes?! Put a ban for 5 years for any company that do this and give them a fine equal to a 3 year turnover in the past years and they'll comply without any "believes".
