I don't think mmWave is important
Even all 3 Korean carrier didn't continue investing mmWave and returning the license back to the government (otherwise they need to pay rent the frequency) because of mmWave not really good.

7+ Gen 2 is a 8+ Gen 1 downclocked, it has nothing to do in 7 serie...expensive to produce, probably sold under its costs to bother D8xxx serie.

The only Real Kryo is the one used on Snapdragon 820...all others are rebranded Cortex.
2xx is Cortex A73...
3xx is A75
4xx is A76...
Second digit is often linked to Ram bandwidth...260 is A73 with dual Channel, 280 is quad Channel.
Qualcomm has tons of rebranded/overclocked for years.
8+ gen 1 and 7+ Gen 2 (I think 7+ gen 2 is an anticompetitive move against D8x00, it's probably too expensive to produce and sold under its price)

I think Mediatek build some chip for some special OEM's demands.
Xiaomi said : "we want to build entry 5G but with 108MP camera"
Mediatek answered : "we will modify 6020 with a better ISP able to support 108MP, do you need 4k recording on it?"
Xiaomi : "we don't"
Mediatek : "ok"
And you've got a 6100+
Naming becomes a little complicated as the first digit is the level (9 for flagship, 8 for upper mid, 7 for mid, 6 for entry), the second is the generation (9200, 8200, 7200 are third gen...)
The 2 last digits allows some variants.
Rebranded soc used often x020, x050 or x080
6100+ is definitively not considered as a new soc in Mediatek's mind...if it was the case, the name would be 6200

For the SD695 as i understand the 4 gen 1 just have same gpu so for gaming the Antutu v9 benchmark score is similar.
4 gen 1 - (2x2.0 GHz Cortex-A78 & 6x1.8 GHz Cortex-A55)
SD695 - (2x2.2 GHz Kryo 660 Gold & 6x1.7 GHz Kryo 660 Silver)

All these dimensity chips are now so confusing.
Also the autor of this title should eat less mushrooms or something to think that be for future mid range. i would say it is future mid budget range
