The Sony WF-1000XM5 are coming next week

Based on leaks, the new buds will be smaller and lighter than the XM4 TWS buds and will feature longer battery life and improved ANC.

        tried my friends xm4 and im bcoming more appreaciate with my my cheap 15$ levovo lp70 as it sound is as good as 80% of xm4(except no anc) so its worth it xD

No need to buy these gadgets or phones.They will surely reduce the price then. For example iphone 14 was almost same and 14 pro didn't bring much extra other than slight design tweak. Mostly marginal improvement over the years.

              I hope that anc is better than in last gen., is some tests it performs quite poor.
              Best if its not as mysterious as wh line with their adaptive anc - more capable in non-adaptive 100% mode which is Not available, but performing poorly in real life.
              About as true as in real life, until you see some review with a different ending.

                  My xm4's right earbud has horrible battery drain now. Though the sound quality was superb, I might try other brands for my next wireless earbud.

                    The xm4 are the world's most overrated tws. money wise and review wise. they have great sound quality, anc and battery. But they are completely useless for phone calls

                          My reliable WF-1000XM3 is officially 2 generation behind with this announcement, after I got it cheap at Mediamarkt Köln for around 130-140€ last year (included insurance) 🥲 But considering I'm happy with my WF-1000XM3, I think I'll settle mines for a while.

                            Really loved the XM4s. Vocals are crisp clear and bass level is just about perfect, clearly above my Airpods Pro 2 in audio quality.

                            One big negative though, they were overly thick and the tips cling in your ears that well. Its obvious they weren’t made for all ear shales. Dropped them so often I had to give them away :/

                                      it's sad to see how the companies are getting away with increasing prices in the name of inflation and they brag with record profits, but the pleb has the same salary and if the pleb wants a deserved raise, the company says it can't because we live in tough times. disgusting.

                                        They will go great with my Sony Xperia 1V! They seem to perform better than the new Technics which I also find good (EAH-AZ80) Regarding the rumor of a new Sony Xperia Pro series in 6 months: do you know if the screen will be larger than 6.5" this time?
