                  Huawei already had dynamic island on their honor phone. They were first not apple.

                          I hope this rumour turns out to be false, I hate hole punches and prefer a notch as i find it less distracting although I have heard that it could have a Sony IMX 989 main sensor and a wide notch from another leaker so it could go either way until we get official confirmation.

The Essential PH-1 was the first smartphone to have a cutout selfie camera.

                                Apple didn't start the cutout, but it has a software feature called Dynamic Island, which can change in size and shape depending on what's being displayed.

                                Huawei didn't copy the cutout, but rather the position of the cutout in the center of the screen, and the software, which is Apple's Dynamic Island, which is also in the center of the screen, unlike the S10 5G and S10+.
