EVERY year there’s a MASSIVE demand for iPhones at launch that waiting times are ALWAYS extended by months. Volume sold leading to Christmas are always in 10s of millions. Pray tell why they would induce scarcity on purpose? They don’t need to play that game when their products always sell out.

The business tactic is called "artificial scarcity", to make it look like a product is in limited quantity to push fanboys to buy the same thing with higher price tag as soon as possible. A company like apple would sell their family for more profits, how can they slack on their biggest money making product.
Come on Apple, up your game, even your strategies are getting repetitive just like your iphones.
