Both need and have a motherboard, CPU, RAM, INTERNAL STORAGE CHIP, GPU, WIFI & BT modules along with displays (laptops / all-in-ones) and come with batteries ( even if it's the small CMOS battery to keep the date and time in check )

Kudos to Samsung for offering a 1TB option, but curse Samsung for requiring a 1100% storage markup to get there.

A phone is a damn phone, a PC(personal compu... moreStop living in the past, Flagships smartphones a basically laptops, does everything as PC does, you can read documents edit them, do videos editing, browsing, youtube watch, it pretty much does what PC does, just not so conveniently because of the much smaller screen, but otherwise they do exact same stuff as PC and they are also as powerful as PC (flagships)

Didn't take long for samsung to going from being the front-runner to playing catch-up. Kinda like apple with the iPhone.

Even samsung employees said this year the fold and the flip are minor upgrades (more like 4S rather than 5) but this writer says it is not a bad thing. Fold last year was best selling because it didn't have much competition in many countries. Everyone knew this I am surprised he didn't.

Phones are literally personal computers in your pocket. You can record a video, edit it, and then render it out all on your phone. You can even do 4k video. You can write word documents, draw, surf the web, watch youtube, play games, make music, edit large files, check your email, etc... The only real difference between a phone and a desktop computer these days is their physical size. Samsung devices are even closer to a computer with DEX mode.
12gb/24gb of ram is not even that much these days for a flagship device. That system ram has to be shared with the GPU in the device. So just opening a demanding game that has high res textures will eat up a ton of the ram. Combine that with some background tasks, other apps that you want to stay open, browser tabs, and those 12gb fill up fast.

The blue and yellow s-pen case reminds me of the Ocean Blue color of the Galaxy Note 9.

Do not be like a child, you can not compare a phone with a PC, not even in like 3, 4 years. Many have been brainwashed about higher RAM, making them to believe that amount is relevant. Well it is pointless. Go and talk with a specialist, and he will explain to you why it is only a marketing thing.

Finaly better design, lovely blue color, lovely new screen but again the same old bad cameras and it is more expensive then ever. That's a no Samsung!

Most of the phones they sell are $500>. They can easily prove me wrong. Aside from Huawei, no one is stopping them from going global, except themselves.
But, it's your argument. Why aren't they going global? If an eland accidently walks into lion territory, do you think the lions are going to wait until it gathers itself to get away? Of course not. No, samsung will not use xperia periscope style. Dual cam solution is simpler and cheaper.

Also, considering that Samsung is apparently making a periscope telephoto with variable optical zoom, this could happen. Kudos to them also if they improve things like heat dissipation, thermal efficiency, power efficiency and space efficiency to achieve this. Point is, companies like Samsung aren't trying enough, because the average user will not challenge the Samsung-Apple duopoly. I know that making such a large periscope telephoto lens that can reliably work on a phone is incredibly difficult, but there really does seem to be a lack of innovation that is at the centre of all of this, which is due to the complacency of the two companies.
