More Samsung Galaxy S4 Exynos 5 Octa benchmarks surface

There will be no lag with the full A class 8 core versions as has enough power to prove Samsungs chip is the best and android is king There are no lag videos with the real version since it's release to prove what im saying is true.
And real users will get ROOT access and install lite custom
ROM and speed kernels so show you android never does lag at all when used properly by its users

All are same, there s no sp... moreyes there is pre-release/ test firmware for most products worldwide, smartphones are no exception, it is just generally just not so fine tuned and lacks certain features for example, I got the galaxy s4 in stock for friday 26/04, but on wednesday 24/04 I got a working demo model for the store, and it was a WIFI only galaxy s4, it did not even have a call feature or button on it,and it also lacked several other features, but when i enquired why this was different i was told that it was a DEMO/TEST unit running a test firmware with limited functionality.

Skywalka, 28 Apr 2013You can add a microSD card. These are very cheap nowadays.You're right it can b expanded, but, that does not excuse samsung's treachery. Its really silly of them. Imagine buying a 16gb device and meeting about half of it availabe! Hope the owners enjoy it though, thanks to the sd memory cards.

Bunyip, its true, cos I remember this wireless charging is not exactly a phone feature, samsung just integrated into s4 (form factor). Anyways its still an awesome phone.

These are very cheap nowadays.yes but it is no good for putting apps onto, games need to be stored on the phone to run, and for example N.O.V.A 3 is well over 2Gb, fifa 1.7Gb, suddenly with only 2 games i lose nearly half my storage, thats the problem, my nokia n96 of 5 years ago had 16gb and it would go on for ever, but games and apps were measly sizes i had like 1000 apps on that phone with no problems, fast forward 5 years and most things have increased ten fold, yet storage is still stuck, in fact we get less storage because of the increased OS size and Bloatware and features, companies should be advertising not only storage size but also user available memory, and personally, all flagships should be at least 32Gb minimum nowadays because even internal flash memory for phones is very cheap compared to 5 years ago

Anonymous, 28 Apr 2013No man .. really i am not bad mouthing this device at all. ... morei agree with you to a point, there is no real gain in synthetic benchmarks, because there are other factors to consider, just because a phone is more powerful does not mean it is any quicker in day to day life.
it would be good if there was some other way of more accurately testing day to day usage of these devices taking into account variations and outside factors

I tested most of the phones.. and this one is worse then the lot. Its not just a single device.. but EACH and EVERY S4... there is this noticeable lag.. its annoying. Not only that .. it fills the storage with lots of features.. so making the phone really bloated.. 16gb does not FEEL like 16gb at all!..

There is... moreagreed, your phone still needs to be placed on a plate, and charges at a slower rate then even usb to pc rate, and to wirelessly charge requires more kit to carry, personally i just take my usb cable, and plug in to most things much more simple, a few years yet before wireless charging is an more effective method of power, for now it is just slightly better then a gimmick

I teste... moreu sir are talking rubbish, i work in a phone store in the uk and there is no bad noticable lag at all on the s4, however i did find that sometimes if i have all the sensors activated, and in power saver mode then there is a bit of visible lag, simple thing is to switch some of the sensors off when not in use, there is no point them all been on anyway, the battery drains pretty fast if everything is activated and it is being used for 13 hours a day on test with all 70+ apps open, i also got mine on release day and there is nothing wrong with it except the storage is actully only 8.9Gb of user avaiable storage, very annoying considering todays games and file sizes, and no option to store on sd unless i root. that for me is a big gripe, but one i will adapt to im sure, i have ipad mini for gaming now so wont be such an issue spreading between the 2.

Your ca... moredepends on the country some of the galaxies doe not have lte on board, the octa core version does not have it built in, rumour had it was because of octa and lte not being compatible when they announced the s4, but it turned out that it does, but they have not built them chips for the octa core yet, it will probably come out later in the year with a storage bump and colour, and possibly even ruggedness if al is to be believed

Guys i am warning you ... TEST out the phone first. I tested S4 (s600 version) and HTC one. As well as tons of others like Sony Z or the LG pro. Somehow there is a bad lag on the touchwiz as well as in chrome of S4... somehow s3 seems better then it.. do not know why.
I say hold on don't buy yet. Those who bought .. ur deceiving yourself and comforting yourself that it is fast.
