I saw a video done by a professional photographer from Norway and the photos that came out of the Mark V are amazing. I liked them very much. I wish my Samsung wouldn't over saturate the photos.

this smartphone looks special, its so different from the rest and the samera is the best ever by far and its a sony.

Anonymous, 30 Jul 2023Amount of RAM has zero influence on what goes inside camera... moreDRAM is nothing to do with what I'm talking about here, buffer exists on EVERY SINGLE CAMERA regardless of whether they have a high-speed read-out sensor or not. It's there to temporarily store the data created during the burst shooting before they are saved to the SD card - For instance, my a6000 can shoot 20 photos at its maximum burst shooting rate, and the a7IV can do 800 in JPEG+RAW when shooting at 6fps.

Tracking eyes while bursting shooting is what EVERY camera manufacturers do nowadays and phone manufacturers not doing the same is purely due to the fact that phone cameras used to have such a deep depth of field to the point that implementing such algorithms would've been borderline pointless, which is no longer the case since the sensors are growing larger rapidly. And no, the frame stacking part of my comment is nothing to do with the burst shooting rate.

Which is exactly what I did in my previous comment.

Please don't tell me you actually don't know how stacking frames reduces noise🤦🏻♂️ Also, try telling that to landscape photographers who combine multiple exposures to capture the widest tonal range.

From what I have seen on the internet and my personal testing, stacked RAW from GCAM looks far better than a single-frame RAW from a stock camera the vast majority of the time, unless the subject is a *rapidly* moving object (i.e. It's still good for portraits). You don't care about how much information is captured in the highlights or how noisy the shadows are in your image because you clearly don't care about image quality in general. I do, and there's a reason why many companies are offering users an option to shoot in stacked RAW.

Nope, you're wrong again. If you apply too much clarity boost to an image, then bring down the highlights and raise the shadows significantly, any photo would look have a "bad HDR" look with haloes and white borders all around the subject. Try editing Apple's ProRAW file without applying Apple's tone mapping profile and you'll see what I mean.

I've been telling you that GCAM has been doing that since Pixel 3 came out and Samsung's Expert RAW app captures multi-frame HDR linear dng files in a similar way to how Apple does it. You never proved anyone wrong, rather you just kept running away every time I mentioned those names. You can find Xiaomi's presentation slide mentioning 14-bit multi-frame RAW (They call it "UltraRAW") and the camera apps on Vivo and Oppo phones mentioning "Super RAW" and "RAW+" respectively. Don't bother wasting your weekend on counterargument you will never find, because I know I'm right.
