Vango, 29 Jul 2023Don't the new Moto Razr's have an IP52 rating? My friend do not worry Moto Razr 40 Ultra is certified ip52 dustproof and water rappelling that is why I prefer the Razr 40 ultra the the Flip 5 although the Razr 40 ultra still have a better screen and access any apps.

samsung boss has lost all respect for customers...he may get younger ones but real customers like me that have been for there for 20 years cannot accept prices in europe that are not acceptable, the fact that u only get a phone in a box for 1100.00 euros we deserve a charger and a case and a screen protector...and a cable

I can imagine this needs harder screens than classic phones got now, since the dust on inside of screen would act as a nut in a nutcracker, only that it wouldn't be a nut to crack...
Just imagine right now it got worse protection than in ordinary phones and they got to go above and beyond...
This would make it CyberFold lol.

I think it's about getting the dustproofing for the hinge internals as well. But because the hinge is not a motorized unit, it shouldn't be much difficult to implement. It's just a matter of time.

Even called some friends under small rain no issues.
force of a wind made no issues that phone still working as a new and since i always use quality leather book case and a screen protector i dont experience probles of people her as much as them.
I just picked what was available for a good price.
It wasnt mr who decided that phone will get IPXX rating.
I just bought best available at affordable price which is 16 eurs a month for next 2 years via my network carrier.

Also, who said foldables were going to replace slab phones? Foldables will coexist with slab phones. The average cost of foldables is over $1000 dollars. The average cost of a slab phone is $200-$500. It wouldn't matter if foldables were as durable as a tank. That price is a cost most people are not willing to spend. That's why there are only two manufacturers that can sell premium devices while everyone else only profits off their entry-mid range priced phones.
