              That's some dumb bs you idiots always promote. 4K will always look crisp and extremely well detailed compared to lame 1080p in both 4k and 1080p screens. And a phone that already has QHD+ display should always priorise high resolution videography. Nobody really cares about your low resolution phone. Maybe 8k in smartphone is a gimmick but 4k 60 fps is the standard.

Only Sony has 4k screen on their flagship phones, the rest are either 1440p or 1080p or 720p on budgets & I can guarantee you that majority of global population watch videos on their phones than on any other devices due to its portability & affordability(budget smartphones).

                      There is also a issue with the front facing camera that isn't possible to set the max resolution. Right now it can only take selfies and portrait pics in 9MP.

                                But s10 is a lot faster, on new one ui, has way better cams and battery

                                I bought an s10 recently. It was a tough choice between the note 9 and s10

                                  I just buy 512/1tb models but hopeful Sony will make 8k 30 fps phone.

                                  4k is ok for social media though.

                                    Why I bought the S23Ultra?

                                    Because we don't have much choice in the Android department for a good high end cameraphone?

                                    Take my country : Indonesia. The high end android market we have are catered by Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Realme, and Huawei.

                                    Among those brands, the local distributor deliberately crippled our selection, like, the Xiaomi top end phones never made it to Indonesia, same with the best Oppo and Vivo phones, they deliberately don't import them here. Find X6 Pro? Doesn't exist here. Mi 12s Ultra? Never existed here. Mi 13 Ultra? Dream on. Huawei fought valiantly, but lately I see their gallery doesn't offer phones anymore, just tablets, so maybe the local distributor has given up selling Huawei phones here (with the lack of Gapps, who can blame them?)

                                    Pixel, Motorola, and Experia are all gray imports here, no guarantee that we will get any aftersales service when something goes wrong. They will always say that we have 1 year seller warranty, but we only does sell these things online, if something goes wrong, where are you going to take your phone? They will just block your whatsapp, and that's that.

                                    So, in the end, I have to settle on something, and I've never been a fan of iOS (Wife uses 14PM, I hate it, file management is a nightmare)
