yes. the looks did sway me to a certain degree and i got the phone yesterday. beautiful phone indeed and it feels premium. i held the S4 and its even lighter than S3 personally it is a bad move. you need to feel the weight slightly to know you are holding something in your hands. its just me. but the HTC one also has some other nice hardware/software features to trumpet the S4.

Because 4x facepalm is the only facepalm enough to describe that fail. Great, a dozen or even a million people saying HTC one is better. Well guess what? There's seven billion people in the world. Just give even half of the population an s4 and Htc one to play with for a day and you'll get a million people saying HTC one is better. because there is no way a review will get a 100% result that one is better than the other. Also, who cares about the design? I'll be looking at the screen, anyway, not at the back. Only immature, self-conscious kids need aluminum design

dis is stupid. htc may be ahead in the built quality category but everything else, it falls short. The s4's features destroy what the htc can offer. also the plastic can be removed for a removable battery and a micro-sd card slot, something the htc one doesnt have. the plastic back is more functional than looks. one thing samsung could have done though was to put some front facing stereo speakers. one good thing about the one is that it has those.

I was already decided on getting HTC One because of the design, screen and audio(those are the features that mattered to me). But digging deeper into the intrawebs, it was a unanimous fact that HTC after sales support suck big time. This is one of them:

htc one is premium, s4 is (no comment).. hahaha! but hey! nokia lumia is plastic but it feels premium. but why is that samsung feels cheap?

I absolutely regretted getting the Sensation XE over the GS2. A couple of days after getting the device, I noticed that pressing on the lower-right corner of the front piece resulted in a little give with an accompanying creaking sound. The whole unibody design thing is a nice concept on paper but in practice, it requires more quality control than HTC is willing to spend on.
Furthermore, firmware updates for the Sensation XE stopped at ICS. Why? Because they were too busy with the One series devices at the time. If I hadn't modded my phone, I would never have gotten Jellybean on it.
My storage needs aren't that big so I can live without a microSD slot if need be. Charging my phone isn't that big of a deal and I have one of those portable chargers, too, so I don't mind not being able to change the battery too much. But I refuse to patronize a company that shits on its customers after the initial sales have been made.
