Asus ROG Ally review

05 August 2023
This review has been a long time coming, but with Asus making constant improvements to the performance and user experience, it made sense to hold off for a while.

The screen is too tiny to deal with Windows 11 not to mention there is no keyboard or mouse.

I wish Asus made complete user interface in top of windows 11.

ETAPrime in YouTube have review lots of "steam deck compatible" device
ETAprime is my go to in this type because it has detailed and good review. He also not afraid to flash the device with different OS.

This was surprising, and a great review. Good job team!
I do recommend that GSMArena also gets their hands on the new Retroid Pocket 2S for review. Their next handheld is called the Retroid Pocket 5 and it's slated to be released in Early March 2024, but might get pushed back to Early July 2024, with a different variant expected to launch later in September 2024.

Until we see new revolutionary battery tech that quadruples battery life, this and the Steam Deck are just e-waste.

You get to play a AAA game at low settings on a tiny screen in a large and heavy body for 45 minutes. They'd have to pay me to that, rather thane me paying them.

I'd rather play retro games on my pocket friendly Miyoo Mini Plus, Retroid Pocket 2+, and s23 , for up to 10 hours. And leave the AAA for my gaming rig.

GSMArena should compared this one-by-one to steam deck
for the game that were available to both so we can see the battery life comparison.
