I have a global version of Huawei Nova 9. Running EMUI 12 which is thought to be Harmony OS 2.0 lite. It is super fast and the King of multi-tasking. My wife has iphone 14 pro max. Never been a fan. I've used android all my life. This feels different, better. Much better really. That's why I'm frustrated to hear Huawei say we are not ready for Harmony. We've gone out to buy Huawei despite the politics. It's sad that it seems Huawei has a caste system where we, global clients, don't matter. A type of apartheid really. Either Huawei allows all users to access Harmony, or they give a pretty good reason or maybe the US is right and we accept that any sympathies for Huawei are misplaced: maybe they truly don't care about global clients think. I hope the latter is not the case.

    Even Huawei can't make a new OS from ground using language like C and RUST and have to settle for ASOP source code which itself uses Linux as kernel made by Linus Torvalds and

      Wish China would stop this obsession with creating iOS knock offs. Only reason I never buy Chinese phones is because of the heavy skinned resource hungry OS’s.

        In fact, this is Android. Also HarmonyOS and OpenHarmony are two different operating systems just for marketing use similar names

          If a small startup company like Nothing can challenge the monopolies of IOS and Android by trying their own approach, why can't Huawei who are still pretty huge in China?
          Just bring Harmony OS to the rest of the world so we could have a 3rd OS of choice in this very boring IOS vs Android world.

                      Lol if you know nothing about harmony OS then you shouldn't post your opinion, ios is based on hybrid kernel, and harmony OS is based on micro kernel and the ui is completely different
