Now Nokia is owning the mid to low end in WP sales. WP gets a boost with the nokia collaboration. I see a slow but sure growth in WP sales, I know there'll be trolls out there whose going to bash Nokia or WP because of "less apps" , WP is starting fresh, just like other OSes, Apps will be out there in time. And one thing is for sure, the cheapest WP Nokia 520 has a better build quality and looks better than other mid to low end Android devices. I'm an android user and i'm looking forward to purchase a mid range WP.

No OS is perfect, deal with it.

Now gives me no r... moreObviously someone who is a fan boy that never owned a droid or just someone that does not know how to use technology very well. The only downside to droid at present is it's battery drain, but this is also present on WP7/8 and iOS.

Two different charts genius. One is for OS systems the other is for Smartphone sales. Two different time lines also. one being quarter the other being a full year.

All of You forget that 90% of terra's PC users have Windows running pc's. I already see only Windows 8 tablets (not RT) beeing launched from all big brands. All of you forget that the most important thing in sales is the growth,easy but sure. Do not Wonder to see Windows Blue mobiles in 2014-2015 sharing 25-30%of global market. They only need manu cheap terminale any many stupid apps for all kinds of ignorants like ios or android now

I agree, Windows or IOS will be the future operating systems for your mobile.. But you cannot forget, android is a hit for the masses, the maximum numbers are generated from them only and every marketer or seller will see, what gives him regular returns. Android is cheap, trendy and most of all gives U option to modify ur phone experience. Tht sort of lags in other OS. But that will also change soon, fingers crossed... :D

When I changed the country to India, it showed Samsung as an OS. :D :D :D. So I think I will question its authenticity.
