Google releases August update for Pixels and it's not Android 14

The final release of Android 14 might still come later this month, or in September.

Anonymous, 08 Aug 2023Android 14 is 5 weeks away How do you know? Some sites suggest mid to late August. Android 13 was released on 15th August 2022.

    Not updating millions of devices at the same time makes sense, for one to not overload the servers and to have good download speeds. Also one can go to the update settings view and check for updates, and then the update will be forced and available for download.

        Android 14 is 5 weeks away

          My experience is that updates roll out immediately. I've never heard of updates taking days or weeks unless they're carrier supplied devices.

          I heard that Android 14 is likely to drop in the third week of August, but Google may not even know at this stage.
