Saudi Arabia mandates all electronic devices to use USB-C charging ports from 2025

Nice example set for rest of the world. Imagine all the household using one or 2 chargers for entire devices. How much e waste is saved annually. I agree 1 or 2 chargers wont suffice but having a uniform standard across regions will lead to innovation ( one chargers fits all - power rating and voltage etc). Most importantly we dont need to buy chargers everytime we change the devices. It a win win both for consumers, producers, environment

          So far Europe, India and Saudi Arabia have mandated USB-C standard.

            Eh i don't see that law appyling or worst case, companies don't sell on Saudi Arabia.
