Better to be prepared for worse case scenario. Lose your ID and dont have passport then it be a serious pain to make a new one as to proof you are really you. I cant even imagine this process to go trough to get a new ID out of nothing

It would save like 30 minutes or more off for traveling to work and home from work.
Would get to sleep 30 minutes more in the morning and so on. Living in a city just have the problem as cant park the car anywhere. 45kmh as top speed but change the speed limit chip and the scooter engine car can to like 70-80kmh as top speed.
Well 30-50kmh is the speed limit in the city too so no need more of top speed. And if the chip is changed then can go like 10-20km out of the city on the side roads where you wont get in a way of the real cars who get mad at you cause your slow

I rather have a dumb car without smart stuff.
But considering EU rules, at some point having a dumb car will be near impossible.

Auto manufacturers can create their proprietary system along with Android auto and Apple car play, people will use what's best for them. But sadly car manufacturers are stopping competition, so that they can sell crap to consumers without any pressure of competition.
EU should intervene. Support for both Android auto and Apple car play should be mandatory. Car manufacturers can develop their system alongside.

I use Android Auto, but I mainly use it for maps and notifications (text, signal and ... Skype company I work for some reason uses). I do not really see a good usage case beyond maps ... maybe some music streaming platform, but I never owned or was driven in a car where I would not describe the sound system as utterly abysmal.
I would rather use my Shokz Open Run Pro in my car and not listen to its JBL branded system ... it is barely good enough for handsfree, let alone music.

All those screens are just a distraction, the eyes must always point towards the road, thus we avoid fatal accidents.

As long as it has a headphone jack and a CD player, then I don't mind. Unfortunately, no new cars nowadays have either of these two things, and only these new cars have Android Auto or Apple Car Play.

I don't have or own a car. Only motorcycle and my GPS Map is by asking people and road sign. Maybe with phone holder attached to my bike handlebars 😅

Why would there Be a bicycle or no car option? This poll is clearly only targeted at ppl who drives cars. Itse nothing against bikes or not having cars but your votes wont contribute cos they are looking for stats about how car drivers feel here.

Must have, wont Be getting a car anymore without Android Auto. Preferably wireless Android Auto support, but there are gold and cheap enough dongles to turn wired into wireless nowadays. Also gave up on OnePlus for now cos it wont work well wired
