YouTube Music's new TikTok-like Samples tab wants to help you discover more songs

It's hard to find "what's right for you" with so much music out there, and this aims to help.

This features seems ok, but in general it's unfortunate that YouTube seems to be following TikTok to the bottom.

YouTube should be going the opposite way. It's a way more useful platform. Add rich comments to videos where people can discuss things, embed pictures, gifs, video replies. Code snippets. Add Markdown support too.

              I really hope you can turn this feature off. I'm tired of having vertical video shoved down my throat. I strongly dislike short form content, it should be my right as the user to be able to avoid it.

                  As much as I hate everything copying TikTok, this sounds like a unique application of the TikTok style. Perhaps I'll go try it out.

James Young's Infinity was launched in 2017, yet it become popular because of TikTok. Seriously, how boring the song has to be when it has to be popularized by TikTok? 🤦
