YouTube Music's new TikTok-like Samples tab wants to help you discover more songs

Music streaming services are everywhere these days, and did you know that Google has one too? It's called YouTube Music and starting today it wants to help you discover new music in a very addictive fashion. So it's adding a new tab called Samples, which is basically a TikTok-like vertically scrolling stream of, well, music samples.

It's aiming to take personalized music discovery to the next level, helping you find new songs you'll like, since discovering new music is still a challenge even though you theoretically always have tens of millions of tunes at your fingertips with services like this one. But that's all for nothing if you don't know what to search for, and that's where Samples comes in.

The "seamless feed of short form video segments" is powered by "the world's largest catalog of music videos", YouTube proudly boasts. The Samples feed promises to "explore the depths and breadth of the YouTube Music library so that there's always something new to listen to".

Each "immersive clip" offers "a glimpse into the artist, the video, and the feel of the song". You can swipe vertically to go to the next one, and the next one, and so on. When you like what you hear, it's easy to quickly add the song in question to your collection, share it with friends, create your next playlist, kick off a radio station based upon it, watch the full video, visit the album page, and even use the song to create your own YouTube Short.

Bad thing about them is the update and security support.

Yeah I know, I was a huge of the Axon 40 Ultra and their nubia Z50 Ultra. Still rocking my OP 7 Pro too. Notchless phones are goated.
