OnePlus 13T debuts with 6.3" OLED, Snapdragon 8 Elite and 6,260mAh battery
After a three-year hiatus, OnePlus is back to making T-series phones. But the OnePlus 13T is not just a spec bump, it’s an entirely different take on the OnePlus 13 with a focus on ergonomics. The device was unveiled in China and is expected to make its global debut in the coming months.

This is a premium compact flagship smartphone with a 6.32-inch LTPO AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate.
The 13T is just over 150mm (5.9”) tall and under 72mm (2.8”) wide, making one-hand operation a much more plausible task. The display on the 13T features an integrated optical fingerprint scanner, a 16MP front-facing camera, and is protected by Oppo Crystal Shield Glass.

The signature Alert Slider is replaced by the “Shortcut Key” which can still toggle between sound profiles but it’s also programmable, so users can launch other shortcuts and apps.
Most compact smartphones don’t get decently sized batteries but the 13T takes exception. It features a 6,260mAh silicon-carbon cell with 80W fast charging. OnePlus also added a 4400mm² VC cooling area to help keep thermals in check.

The camera department is headlined by a 50MP main cam using an IMX906 sensor and a 50MP 2x telephoto module.

The 13T gets Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and is configurable with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.

The software side is covered by ColorOS 15 based on Android 15. The international version will likely boot OxygenOS. The 13T also features IP65 water and dust protection.
OnePlus 13T is available in Gray, Pink and Black colors. The baseline 12/256GB version is priced at CNY 3,399 ($446) in China, while the top-tier 16GB RAM and 1TB storage version will go for CNY 4,499 ($617). Pre-orders there are now live, while deliveries are expected to start on April 30.

Main reason my brother hates the ultrasonic scnner hype. Optical scanners scan the finger different so that is why those work with his fingers (he too has a skin disease), but the tech behind ultrasonic scanners is going haywire in his case, bec...

Not how that works, unless you import it from china to EU and don't get caught doing so (in my country taxes are 21%) EU price will be at least 900 euro for sure, which is still a very good deal.
