Think about it, even if they were quoted a price, the amount they save by having less transportation cost would be HUGE, then they'd also have less planning and stuff to do because they can just consult their own firms. So many positives and yet Samsung still wants to be a cheapskate

Topofan, 18 Aug 2023As long as BBK and Xiaomi outdo themselves who can produce ... moreVery true fact...
Previously we used to have a lot of choices, now it's close to none. I was searching for a phone with good specs, SD card and headphone jack. And searching for such phones took me about a month.
I finally settled on the Realme 9 SE 5G, which is what am currently typing this comment on...
(Yes, Infinix GT 10 Pro exists, but it was not available at the time of my purchase. Plus, it has a MediaTek chip, which means there won't be much aftermarket development, like Custom ROMs)

DarlingYext, 18 Aug 2023"If y'all are wondering why is it "too expen... moreNice question...
Probably it's coz other brands have the budget to buy those sensors, maybe they've allocated more money to stuff like good camera sensors and the like...
You should ask this question to the people at Samsung, not to me. I don't run the company lol 😂
Everyone was confused as to why "it was expensive for Samsung themselves", so I gave a simple explanation. If Samsung Electronics doesn't allocate enough capital for these stuff, it's not my fault lol 🤣

You will never see 1" inside Samsung phones as long the phone has Pen slot.
It takes huge space. Samsung is not going to sacrifice design to use those giant/thick bumps that are 6-7mm thick.
What samsung will try to do is to make cameras similar to exmor T, this way keep using something like size of gn2 at most.

As long as google, samsung and apple make photos look like 1000% different from reality, then media will be hostile to anything the seems to be taken by 📷, exactly what all phones should do.

this is getting ridiculous. what we actually need is regular sized sensors with regular MP counts that can actually retract and detract to zoom. it doesn't need to be anything more wacky than that.

Like the competitors are unable to research and develop on their own this is really stupid.
For what sake is good to spend money time and people stamina to make something they not going to use.
It makes no sense but since its samsung i really dont care.

Darth Caesium, 18 Aug 2023Both. Both is correct.Nope, apple's leaked 300mm periscope lense beats every innovation Samsung has introduced in the past ~3 to 5 years. Also Samsung doesn't have to worry about their inferior Snapdragons now that they've switched to them from Exynos that made them clowns as they are. The whole Exynos and Samsung fab thing just proves how superior Apple is.
