octacore is just a gimmick. let me tell you something to improve your knowledge. iphone is only dual-core but never lag, no issues and can perform better than others. same goes to competitors that only use quad-core but perform better than that of your octacore. youtube or google it if you dont believe me. naff said

a lot of people are also still missing the point of the note series. they're not just smartphones people! they're meant to have bigger screen to serve as a compromise between a phone and a tablet. that's why samsung has the s4 for the smartphone class. if you want smaller size go for the s4!
there, i hope that does the job, because i think there are already too many people complaining about things that they just don't understand. Geez!

There was a rumor that it was going to have a Snapdragon 800 chipset with 3gb RAM and a similar footprint as Galaxy Mega 5.8" (but with 6" screen). I don't have a deep understanding on chipset so which is better? Snapdragon 800 at 2.3ghz or Exynos Octa at 2ghz?
On another note, I doubt that Sammy will have enough production capacity for their YOUM display in time for the Note 3 launch. Although if they did, then I'll get this over the Sony Honami (which seems like the Note 3 threat).

Great - now perhaps the note II price will come down to a point where it is worth buying. I have a Note I which is OK but never lived up to all the market hype, but I would buy the Note II if cheaper just to stop the lagging. Note III no as it will be way over priced for what it can really do.

And S4's screen is .5 inch smaller than Note II, and a whole lot smaller in terms of size (SIII is much smaller than Note II and S4 is just the same size as SIII)

i am amazed by the masive number of people that don't understand how the octa core functions. it's been explained so many times, i bet i could make a 4 year old understand the fact that there are 4 a15 cores for the hard work and 4 a7 cores for the easy tasks, they do not work both at the same time, it's the a7 or the a15, they switch betwen as the phone needs them.
It's funny as there are many people laughing at other people for liking this and think that we are the ones that are fooled when actually their iq is so limited that they can't even understand.
First of all it's not ok to make fun of someone and second if you still want to do so make sure you know what you're talking about, get your facts straight. Gotta love people who don't know what they're talking about but still make fun of others.

i liked the note 2 but i didn't buy it because it can't fit comfortably in my jeans pocket,i was hoping that s3 will have smaller body with same screen size,but if it is really in the size of the mega then no way to buy it,i hope samsung releases stylus phone in the same size of the s4.
