Since they cut one camera off (and will hopefully provide a lower price) they could have gone with the snapdragon 7 gen 2 which is still very powerful and cut the price even more, down to 600-700

The nerve to release so called Fan Edition with features that fans "supposedly" want but the S20 fe was the last microsd edition. None after the 10 had headphone jacks.
But they still have factories making microsd. 😂

Post-covid news on Japan also pointed out how used iPhone sales soared. Not surprising since Apple fans love to boast 5-6 year support. Although some of them keep buying new each year. 🙃

It's a lottery of green screens but the least likely to do that were Japanese telco models. Except those do not support LineageOS.

You people make no sense at all. Hey look, the Xperia 5V is removing the telephoto camera. Another feature gone, so you think that means this phone is even more "futuristic" and another price increase is justified. You must be so happy!

So bullying for being perceived as "poor" might be part of the reason why market share has soared over there.
Pixel has gained some traction, and surprisingly, Sharp Aquos devices are highly popular, too.
Xperia is on a tough spot: midrange is not popular enough, Ace is low end and meant for old folks, and the flagships are sold more based on their cameras alone than the overall package. Recently, even Aquos upgraded their software update policy to almost match Samsung.
