Right now I have an old samsung a8 (2018) and I wanted to upgrade. I fully small and compact design phones from asus. I had a budget of 7 to 800 bucks,I wanted to have a good SD chip, a decent camera with ois, headphone Jack's, ip rated ECT.. and overall just a good compact phone. I really wanted to see asus up they're game with the best zenfone 11. Like better low light shots you know. Pls asus. I know there'll be a lot of people like me. Thank you

I find ASUS products amazing.
Going o be buying one of these phones.

To be honest I would have loved for them to dissolve the Zenfone line and just make an all ASUS ROG phone line with a Budget, Midrange and Flagship variant all related to mobile gaming. I imagine all of their phones having shoulder trigger buttons. And everyone knows ROG and gaming phones just mix well together.

Also ASUS already officially sell their phones in Indonesia anyway, and that's how I could bought my Zenfone 9 through a local online market-place.

Asus challenge is that the concept of their devices are really likable.
Their execution on devices seem also really good ... but.. somehow not enough people buy them it would seem

The ROG series is more interesting. Since it has all that space, they could do some amazing things if they could make BTO modules.
The ROG Phone 7 has a silly LED in the hole where the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate has its cooler port. That could have been a microSD slot, a flash drive, a telephoto lens, thermal camera, IR blaster, woofer, pico projector, disco light, whatever.

The last ZenFone I own was 8 years ago, it was ZenFone 2 Lazer the one with Lazer AF pretty cool, also the phone works like a charm being Asus and compatible with a lot of pc and laptops during my college days, really helpful.. but if we're talking about today's issue, I don't think there's really a competition for sub 6inch phones beside the iPhone, there's no way Asus is cancelling the series... And I also saw someone said ROG phone is ugly, and I highly agree with that statement, but it's obvious why it's designed like that to house the good Rog things inside.. still ugly display tho, but it does what it's meant to do after all which is gaming

Huh, that's a pretty direct denial statement. Great news if true, but shame on them if lying. Personally I hope to see a Zenfone 11, 12, and so on that keeps everything good about the 9 and 10.
