That's fantastic news that it goes up to 2 terabytes. For the phone carriers, and samsung. At the expense of 100 extra dollars per spatial upgrade. Not to mention that phone recording quality doubles in size each year too so you have to get phones because you're going to be recording in the highest quality possible, if not at 4K, which is a gig every few minutes. I made the mistake of only going for the 512 23 +, and 9 months in I'm 95% full on a daily basis of what do I keep what do I delete. But yeah 2 terabytes for $6,000 sounds fine. So sick of this I swear to God if it doesn't come with expandable memory I'm going to lose my GD mind

Oneui also includes a extra ram feature, which sacrifices some storage for more ram IF the ram is full. There should be almost no cases where 12gb is needed unless you keep 20+ apps running with 100 tabs in your browser all the while playing a 3d game at the same time.

In 2024 all p... moreMy S23 Ultra have 12gb ram and 256gb. i won't get never phone without 12gb ram. ram is more important at me than memory and thats why 256gb is enough for phones and no needs be more memory at my phones than 12-16gb and 256gb memory.

Both a huge step forwards (world record storage!) and a big step backwards. Phone companies love skimping on storage and reselling it for a massive markup. 128GB additional SSD storage costs $5, but phone companies love selling that for $25-$100+. I'm now worried that we will start regressing in base storage and seeing higher storage markups.

Xperia smartphones already have everything from SD slot to audio jack, in-the-box charger and Sony also offers freebies and stuff for pre-orders, and yet people don't want to buy saying it's overpriced. In this region, an iPhone Pro Max costs almost two thousand dollars which is actually the one overpriced and a total waste of cash

I'm not using it either, but it's just nice if you still have an option to connect anything to your device. That's why I don't like it when vendors keep reducing much ports from modern laptop nowadays.
