30 August 2023
It's the European Galaxy S24 and S24+ that will get the Exynos 2400, the Ultra will be spared this fate.

if this claim proves to be true, this means samsung is admitting that their exynos chips are inferior to the snapdragon chips, this is sad. even they do not believe their exynos to put in to the ultra line, waaaoww.

Only to make more profit and rip the people off that would like their smaller flagship phones.

This is similar to what Vivo did with the X90 series. The vanilla and the Pro model got the Dimensity 9200, whereas the Pro+ version got the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

Samsung previously using Exy on other markets is like them saying it's just as good. My point was, if they actually only use SD on the more premium Ultra and use Exy on the non-Ultra's, then that would be an indirect admission coming from them, which they haven't done in the past.

At this point why even bother with the base s24 and s24+?

Either give them the same soc and camera or call them the A55 and A75.

Samsung still making Exynos because they have already invested a lot and shutting down Exynos would mean admitting they are not good in developing chipsets. Remember, Samsung created Exynos to rival Apple.

That would basically be an admission from Samsung that the SD counterpart is indeed a higher tier chipset. I guess if Samsung is gonna put Exynos in their S series no matter what, this would be the less unfair implementation. This way, all markets somehow get to have a choice.
