I think it would be better if our editors do some researching of the market overall and cross reference theie leskers information. This'll help seed ou5 seemingly idiotic leakers from the more reliable ones.
Does anyone REALLY believe this report that ONLY the S24 Ultra will get Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chips?! What about Z Fold 6, Flip 5 and the S24 lineup other than thr Ultra?
Either yields for the 8 Gen 3 cannot be sustained for thr volumes requested in 2024 by TSMC along with Smasung's Foundry or Exynos in some regions and in limited supply will be placed into the S series ND keeping volumes for the chip (8 Gen 3) to only be in the 2/3 top tier devices.

Yet nobody is paying attention to the chip cores used and thr clock speeds and most specifically tk thr articles I posted yesterday on yesterday's news of Exynos only being used article comments and why that could've been the reason:
Cause TSMC IS ONLy making 3NM chips this entire year for Apple (A series and M3 series) .
Moreover is that Qualcomm has contracted Samsung to make 5heie SnapDragon 8 Gen 3 chips and not just 15% but a LOT more.
Stop blaming a brand simply based on past experiences. Wait until testing chips have been seeded and fully tested and reports of that leak out first.

Using an inferior chipset on a base and plus model seems like a familiar tactic.
Apple: "Hey, I've seen this one!"
Samsung: "What do you mean you've seen it? It's brand new!"

Anton., 30 Aug 2023Get that pencil out of the ultra too, if I wanted a pencil ... moreNO, no and no. The S Pen was making the Note series special, and since it is discontinued and the S Ultra series is replacing them, it would be stupid to not add the S Pen anymore.

That is a good decision. The Ultra should be as premium as possible. I hope one day, Exynos will be able to come toe to toe to Snapdragon's performance, until then Samsung should not use Exynos chipsets on its flagship devices.

O those who said Exynos and Tensor this year will be good, do you finally understand? If not then why would Samsung not use Exynos for their best phone? LOL. I especially laugh at stupid google fans who eagerly waited for their beloved tensor to be worthy and were dismissing leaked G3 benchmark scores. If Exynos is this bad then tensor is bound to be way worse

For everyone who doesn't understand this:
the most reasonable guess would be that Samsung has much better profit margins on the Ultra. Cost of making the Ultra is not that much higher than the others, so the extra price they change makes it more profitable.
On the others, they would want to use Exynos because it's probably cheaper for them and the profit stays in house, rather than being passed to Qualcomm.
None of this is actually proof that the Exynos will be a worse chipset. That could still be true (it's likely, unless the new Samsung node is a big improvement), but it could also just be a financial + marketing decision.
